ABOUT ME

This is me. Emily. A Stay-At-Home-Mom, quilter, pattern designer, and fabric designer.
I have been designing and marketing quilt patterns for the last 6 years. My style is simple and fun. I like a project that's quick to finish and full of character.

As of 2011 I am pleased to announce that I am now a licensed fabric designer for Michael Miller Fabrics. My very first fabric collection, 'Going Coastal' was a huge success. It's been followed by 'Hall of Fame' and 'Shore Thing'. This spring (2013) I will introduce TECHNICOLOR a collection of fun geometric prints in fabulous colors. It has been an amazing experience and I can't wait for more fun in the future.

The story behind the name "Crazy Old Ladies"
One day I overhauled the house moving rooms around until I had a space to call my own for quilting. The kitchen table just wasn't going to work with my small children running around. I did all of this while the hubs was at work and then I got sewing. When he came home I didn't even get up from the machine. He came in and looked at me and said "Are you going to become one of those crazy old ladies that sits around and sews all the time?"
Of course I am!
I started my pattern business a few years later and the name was a perfect fit!
